Can't switch styles
I just upgraded from 3.0.x to 3.6.2. The upgrade has been successful, except for this problem with my styles.
I deleted all, but one style after the upgrade to make a clean start. Then I created a child of the main style. Both the parent and the child are visible in the drop down menu, but the styles won't switch when selected. I have tried with both IE and Firefox with the same results. What should I look for? Thanks! |

With something like this, the first thing to always try is clearing your cookies then restarting your browsers to see if that clears it up.

You're right, it appears to be busted. You'll mostly likely need to revert and redo your footer template. How many custom templates are you running? 3.0.x to 3.6.2 is a pretty major upgrade, and you'll lose quite bit of 3.6's added functionality if you don't update the templates, not to mention running into the occasional glitch.
Personally, I would work off a clean default template, and reinstitute the theme changes from there, just to make sure your theme is fully 3.6 compatible. |

Thanks I'll start with the footer... I reverted at least a dozen templates when I made the change and then added the mods from there.
I'll also try rebuilding a new style from scratch. |
