Custom Thread Fields · **Released**: 10-08-2006

What you can do with this hack is add multiple fields when someone creates a new thread. You can specify what fields can go in which forums.

To add, edit, or delete a custom field go into your ACP
Forums & Moderators --> Threads Field Manager

This is a great idea, I would use this for forum areas I have set up for classifieds, however, I am using 3.6

This looks good - what would be the chances of having the custom fields at the top of the post rather than the bottom?

You can place them anywhere you want with a template edit.
