Colour usage is the norm and something I would expect to see from an xbox theme. However, for some reason the gradients convey a feeling of emptiness. It lacks that vibrant feeling imo and I would tweak the colours or add additonal images. I dunno, I just find the whole theme lacks something.
I would change the colour of the tcat collapase icons. Short sighted people like myself would find it hard to notice the dark image on black background.
Same rule applies to the menu open image by the "thread tools" and "display modes" area.
I noticed you have a button set I design that was meant for black backgrounds applied onto a light background? If you take a look in the database there is a white matte set that will compliment the background a little better.

I would re-design the image at the top of the forum (makes the forum look untidy) and replace/redesign it so it could be place by the side, alongside the side panel content. This way, everything is kept nice and tidy.
