Well sort of, Id rather not bring up the details, but i had a 3.5.4 board, that was tweaked and working nicely.

I uploaded a fresh copy of 3.5.4 and wanted to keep everything the same so i moved my old install to a different folder, and upgraded the new install, so i didnt delete the database.

Now when i try to login i get an error saying i entered an invalid password.

what do i do?

I do have a DB backup and backups of my styles and plugins as well.

put a '/' after your url/forum.

www.mysite.com/forums/

Sounds like a cookie issue to me.

i think i got it fixed.... i just did a reinstall, emptyed the DB, and then restored the DB through phpmyadmin..... working now.
