Hello all,

I've been working on this all day, reading tutorials, and I just can't figure out how to make a header for my forum that will shrink, expand, and will also include banner ads.

This is kind what I mean...

This is just from when I was screwing around with the graphics for the header (not the final by far)...but this is what I'm trying to acheive.

I'd like to have this image expand to fit the size of the forum depending on the resolution of the user viewing it...so if it's at 800x600 it looks like this...but if at 1024x768, it will fill in the gap with white inbetween the rotating banner ad and the forum name graphic like this:

The problem is...I don't know how to achieve this effect. I've tried searching here, but I haven't found anything that can explain how to do this. I've seen this effect used on quite a few forums, so any help would be appreciated IMMENSELY.

I know that I have to basically create a "filler" graphic of white...but I have no idea how to code this into the header as well as having the rotating banner ad. I assume that I'd have to great the rotating banner ad as the other "half" of the image (including the box around it, etc).
