datastore in vb 3.6.x

Can anyone point me to a page where changes to the datastore that came with vb 3.6.x are explained? here @ vbulletin.org & vbulletin.com couldn't find nothing but a short memo mentioning that something was changed

had some troubles after upgrade 3.5.4 -> 3.6.1 - custom data is not being pulled from the datastore table - how to fix that?

i've set unserialize flag to 1 in the datastore table for my custom entries. but nothing happened.

edit1: errrh, just needed to remove unserialize() from the plugins code as the data is already unserialized by vb as of 3.6.x
