If I Upgraded...what Would Happen To The Hacks.

IM IN A MORAL DILLEMA...ive installed some really good hacks from ur site. onto my vb 3.5.4...i was wondering...if i upgrade my vb to 3.6.1...would they become useless,...like not work?...i can give u a list of the hacks i have installed so u can tell me if they will be or not...

Why don't you check to see if 3.6 versions have been released for the hacks you have installed? If you have pressed the "install" button you will have a nice list in your UserCP. New versions are usually announced in the original hack thread.
Several hacks I had installed for 3.5.4 worked fine in 3.6x and you can find out yourself by checking the threads for what you have installed.

i see....and say the hacks need an upgrade...would that mean a whole new installation??...if i give u the list of hacks...could u determine if they will work or not?

Stop expecting to be spoonfed - you have your list, use the search function and find them, then either look in the first post, or click last, search the last few pages and figure it out for yourself. It's people consistantly asking to be spoonfed that pissed everyone off in the first place.

And just for the record, there is nothing moral about switching, so it isn't a moral delema, its simply a delema.

first off...kid, calm down..if ur gonna get an attitude about it, then dont reply...secondly, i was wonderong if someone already had thse hacks, so as to tell me if they r upgradable...so reply with something helpful or dont reply at all..... thirdly, i have ONE more question, if i upgrade a hack...would it be like a whole new installation? or would it be just the press of a button, and it happens automatically?

In most cases upgrading would simply be a matter or uploading the new product from your adminCP and overwriting your exsiting product.
Upgrade instructions are normally included.

These hacks worked or has an updated download that I use on my forum.

Search function works wonders though.
