Email modification?
Hello, I already wrote about this on vbulletin.com so not to repeat everything here is a link to that thread:
http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=200084 In short, I was hoping there was a way to enable that unsubscribe link code in emails sent from admin panel. And it would be good if sender field could say site title instead of webmaster email but first one is more important. According to tests I made that unsubscribe option is what made a difference between emails going to hotmail inbox and junk mail. First pm notification was going to junk. I only added that unsubscribe link and next email went to inbox, without changing anything on that hotmail account. I posted in 3.5.4 forum there but I upgraded to 3.6.0 in the meantime and I'd really appreciate if someone could pull this one out. I think it could be useful for a lot of admins. |

Bump
I thought there would be more people interested in getting passed hotmail junk filter when sending mass emails. Would it be possible to edit /admincp/email.php to include: Code:
All the best, $vboptions[bbtitle] -------------------- To stop receiving this email, please visit this url: $vboptions[bburl]/register.php?do=deleteactivation&u=$userid&i=$activateid |
