How to edit a thread/post with vbulletin API

Hi everyone,

didn't find something usefull in the search, so now I'm asking globally.

Anyone can show me how to edit a thread/post with the vbulletin api functions? Currently I'm using

to create a thread within a function.

Some help would be very nice.
