Is there a mod to take the RSS feed and have it be placed into a thread for v3.6.. i cant seem to find any info for this version ?

you can try articlebot I use it and it is also 3.6 compatible already

It will only download what is included in the feed. Most feeds have the first x characters, which could be anything from 50 upwards. I've not seen any with less than 50 characters, but it would be possible.

Ok I was not aware of that limit with the feeds. I guess i am still learning about all these great features. so what does articlebot do for $19.00 that the stock vb feed does not

Theres only so much that you can do with an RSS feed and posting it on the forums, so while I haven't seen the latest version of Articlebot, I can't imagine that it can be that different really.
Also, using stock vB functions where possible makes it a lot easier for upgrading and support if a fault happens. |
