how can i bold my new threads? new post feature

on one of my styles the new threads do not show up bold. how can i add that? i would like to have them be bold and once clicked and refreshed it would be a normal link again.

I'd like to know as well. They were bold in 3.5.4, but not since upgrading to 3.6
