Meta tags used in templates

I have set up the meta keywords & meta description in the admincp -> vbulletin options -> general settings group.

My understanding is the above setting will be used to pull values for the variables $vboptions[keywords] & $vboptions[description] in the templates like headinclude.

But I find different values in the pages calling the template headinclude.

Can someone suggest what needs to be done?
