In user profiles, I display a users email to show that they go to a certain school (i.e. @ucla, @usc, etc.). I'd like to convert the text so that the e-mail is shown as an image, preventing crawlers to steel the e-mail address.

Is this possible? I found this on the web and have no idea how to implement it into vB..

From what I have learned, the spam robots can now read the graphics.

And have note from my own experience that even using the squiggly on the new member sign up is being bypassed by the robots.

On the subject of spam, we are being bothered by a robot which keeps on signing up using a different email address and username using the birthday March 28, 1983.
