ArticleBot won't go away...
I uninstalled the ArticleBot modification that was posted here a few months ago, and now I just can't seem to get rid of it. I removed the product from the product and plugin from the appropriate places in the Admin CP, but the additional menu it added to the CP's left hand column will not go away. It doesn't have the phrases, so it's left showing the "phrases" (*[articlebot_admin_name]*) of what should be there. How can I get rid of this?

in your include/xml directory on your server look for a file called cpnav_articlebot.xml (or similar) and delete it.

This worked for me as well. However, you may also want to remove the following files as the uninstall didn't do this automatically.
admincp/articlebot_admin.php admincp/articlebot_simulator.php articlebot/ (the entire folder) includes/cron/articlebot_vbcron.php includes/xml/cpnav_articlebot.xml (already mentioned) |
