How do I change these pictures indicating threads i've posted in and so on?

The defaults do not match my board AT ALL. It makes me sad to look at them.

You can find them in the statusicon folder of your style.

To change the folder location:
AdminCP -> Styles & Templates -> Style Manager -> StyleVars (select it in the dropdown box of your style)
