Invalid Set Name · **Released**: 08-01-2006

Whenever I try to login to the forum I get this message:
"The vbPlaza option you are trying to purchase has an invalid Set Name."

It's redirecting me to review my expired items.

I can't even log into the Admin Panel because it redirects me to this page every time.

This is pretty ridiculous...

It does some werid things..
I disabled my shoutbox , and after i disabled my shoutbox it removed the plaza install out of my site. Even on the navbar it was gone...

If anyone else has this problem, this is what I did -- seemed to fix it.

Stick this in your config.php file:

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then go into your AdminCP and Clear all User History for vBPlaza.

This fixes the invalid set name problem, or does it just fix the problem with not getting into the control panel?

And where in the config.php do you put this?

Stick it anywhere on a new line.

It fixes both.

that did not work for me. You are the only person I have seen that has been able to fix this problem for themselves. This is a common question on this board and a few others, yet no one seems to know how to fix it. *sigh* I hate to have to uninstall this program, it would be perfect for what I want, but I don't know what else to try.

Are you able to regain access to your AdminCP or just not able to fix the Set Name error?

I never lost access to Admin CP, that part is fine. My problem is the Set Name error.

I am having other issues too. Where some categories come up fine and others don't, and I no one is able to buy gifts or ribbons either.

Thanks, this fixed the problem for me. I wonder what's causing it. Sucks that CMX hates us now.
