Who's online feature

Gah, the title should read, "What's going on feature"

Does anyone know where I can find the What's going on feature - like this site?

I have a similar feature on my site, but it doesn't show all of the info I want it to show.

I have spent ages looking for a similar hack, but cannot find one

Any help is appreciated!
