I'm running 3.5.4 and tried doing template mod's to show an avatar in the private messages (next to the name). Is this possible?

Avatars should show by default, no changes needed.

I think he means more in the inbox rather than while reading the PM TBH, or at least that is how I interpretate it.

It might need a plugin to allow the avatar code to be used on that page, but I am not entirely sure myself.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to, the inbox would be more interactive with it. Could I just copy a plugin that would allow the avatars to show up from another location? I'm not exactly sure how that works. Thanks.
