It would be useful for finding missing persons or catching criminals on the run
(hang on, don't I come into at least one of those categories?) |

LOL!! i guess you nor that person have heard the recent news. a bunch of college students, or something similar, were able to hack these 'micro chips', known as RFID tags, which were guaranteed secure by Verichip, the maker of the human implanted RFID tags. also RFIDs are not meant for humans as it is not yet approved by the FDA and hopefully will never be. they dont need a GPS to track you. the 'convience' use of it is almost like having a shadow following you. credit card purchases, tolls, metal detectors, DMV, door entry, banking, hospitals. also this would make identity theft so much easier.
the way the U.S. is going we are going to have a national ID soon, which then I think Canada will look alot more appealing. Go ACLU! story found on the hacking: http://www.conspiracyplanet.com/chan...contentid=3740 edit: also i love the education of this individual, his comics are so high brow and hilarious. he doesn't even know the correct term for it, its called an RFID tag. not micro-chipping. geez some people shouldn't have websites or followers. |

They keep discussing it here in the UK too and are bringing it in the back door.. Then again, they always do that with stuff. Best to just use cash and not have a passport or drivers licence. That way you can dissappear a lot easier.

actually i am wrong on the FDA, damn it we're doomed, they did approve the use of RFID tags in humans for medical reasons. however they did note adverse reactions and other complications with implantation.

No. I will not get chipped. Period. I am not a criminal, I have nothing to hide, I do not use fake I.D.'s. You're not chipping me.

You sound a bit paranoid there Truth
They have probably been doing it for years without telling us anyway. You never truely know what they give you when you are knocked out anyway. |

I personally think it would be a good idea - It would absolve the need for cash or credit cards, drivers licences and passports etc...
Even tracking to a certain degree; Tracking could only be done by the police or a similar authority to check where you are and maybe even where you have been... Chris |
