Help with updating PM count...

Here is my question for those of you who don't want to click the link:

I have some users reporting a wildly inaccurate PM count (6400+ or something, when they have ~100) and I was wondering if there was a simple way to update the counters for only PMs. I'm not sure how this came about, but the issue seems to have correlated with our move to a new host. Hopefully it is just a counter issue that can be resolved with a quick update.

Any suggestions? Thanks!!
