Change forum order ordered by date.

Hi All,

I have several froums where i have added "dates" to.. Each of theses fourms resepent an event (hence the date).

I want to be able order the forums by the date.. and was wondering whats the best way to do it.

I was checking out how the display order works and was thinking of just adding another button saying "sort display order" where i would write my own code to sort them out by date..

Does anyone know any other ways you can do it??

NOTE: i am trying to do this using hooks.. there are no hooks avil with the update display order.
