Yes, you use impex to combine two vBulletin forums.

no because vb needs to be able to connect to them both.

Are you sure ? I though impex could be pointed at a remote server just the same as vb can.

Depends on if the server will allow it I guess. But every time I have tried in the past it didn't work.
