BOTM Question
why is it limited to forums? shouldn't it take into consideration all vBulletin powered components?

We based the rules off those at vB.com - that is one of the rules there.

Its somewhat pointless, maybe a rules twist or a twist of some sort to possibly differ the two contests would be a good idea.

There are going to be major improvements to the Contests here at vBulletin.org in the near future.

I personally think BOTM is pointless. There is no stable rating.Everyone can nominate themselve. It is pointless.

What do you mean "no stable rating"?
The changes we are planning to make include judging criteria to help members in the voting proccess. |

The idea is that people who are proud of their site can submit it for seconding, regardless of any other factors (save having won it in the prior months' competitions). Also, currently, not Anyone can nominate themselves. vBulletin.org staff may not nominate their own boards under the current set of rules. |
