Mods only warn, not view warnings?

Hi!
I'm not that good with php and I wonder if it's possible to re-arange the "view warnings" page so that only admins can view warnings. (both the view warnings in the forums, and the MOD-CP.. or in MOD cp, completely removed to the mods eyes).

(I know how to simply remove the "view warnings" link in the user profile and postbit, with a usergroup strip. But I want the page to say "you're not allowed here" if they just go there via the URL for the page. And then I don't know how to hide the menu-link in the modCp or how to make it say the mods aren't allowed to see the warnings.. if they follow the url there)
