More than 1 vBShout?
Can I have more than one vBShout 2.0 on my forums?
Thanks! |

One for staff and one for members
And maybe a third, but I don't need it really. Aren't there other versions? |

I use that chatbox lite for members and the vbshout 2.0 for the staff

I think Lite was messing up the forums so I uninstalled it...
How do you have Lite set up? We had it in the index, in its own forum, then a redirect, and even in its own thread. It was horrible wherever we put it. Which is the best? |

It would be quite easy to run another shoutbox. But it would make it a lot harder if it were on the same page. Can you out it on another page?

Yeah, I was thinking in the Staff area and in a member section.

thing is running 2 of the same shoutboxex will be very difficult.
Think about it... You type in 1 and it will show in the other, a whole lot of code will need changing (thanks peterska2) I have installed my lite on the index with a modification of my own.. see image My vbshout is also in the index but only staff can see it |

It will not be that hard. The shoutbox was not the complicatedly coded. All you have to do is change the table name in all the query's and if it's on a different page it won't matter about the ajax handler...
