When the final is release, does it pay to just upgrade to 3.6? Im on 3.0.7 and was gonna upgrade to 3.5 soon. There are tons of hacks out there too for 3.5 and few for 3.6 Does it even pay to upgrade to 3.5 considering 3.6 final will be out soon? Then I'll be further back behind the times just like I am now.
I just like the amount of hacks for 3.5. Then again, if they are going to stop being produced, then it seems only logical to upgrade to 3.6 Hmmm |

While 3.6 is not officially supported yet, Beta 4 seems to be quite stable for me. I've been running 3.6 on a lvie environment since Beta 3, and haven't had a single issue.
Personally, I'd run the update to 3.5.4, and then from there upgrade to 3.6 Beta 4. Oh, and many 3.5.X hacks work well on 3.6 anyways. ![]() |

I ran vb3.6 live from beta 1 and only had 2 problems.
1) rss feed table didn't create 2) pm system didn't work. Both of these were fixed in beta 2. It's basically seamless now in beta 4. Just wait until the full version comes out. |

my suggestion is that you should upgrade to 3.5.4 and the, when 3.6 Gold is released, upgrade to it.

or just hold out until 3.6 gold.

3.6 Gold? Is it gonna be a super duper nice version or something? Eh, I've also contemplated upgrading to a Beta version but I'm gonna wait til the first 3.6 comes out.

I think I'll just wait for 3.6 GOLD and do the upgrade from 3.0.7 to 3.6, if thats possible. Wonder when GOLD is due out?

gold is when its a finished product and there arent beleived to be any more bugs or problems that need adressed and everything works as intended.
Gold typically comes after a couple RC releases |
