Anyway to start from scratch without losing members?
What I mean is, I am having severe issues with my board. Database keeps going down because of some hack conflicts. Can I somehow keep all the posts, and members, but have everything go back to the default settings?

you sure can, simply make a backup (to be sure) then set up your new forum, and overright the user and other tables you need to the new database. Using phpmyadmin.
Id say first check this.. goto Admincp/plugin options/ then edit the global setting to OFF, and test your forum now, it means that all plugins will be off untill you set it back to on. This is a great way to find if there is a probelm or not. Hope this helps |

Disable plugins and upload the original vb files.

and this will install default templates and make it like there are no hacks installed? I want a default vBulletin with no hacks, and keep my same members and posts.

I would disable your products and plugins first. Then ACP->Plugin System- Manage Products uninstall all of them. Otherwise you won't get them out of your database tables. Then revert all your templates for each style you have.
**Make sure you have done a backup first. Just my 2 cents. I would hate to have to start over. VB Options are a pill to go through a second time. |
