is it possible to swap positions of these sections?
hey....forum admin newbie here.
(please see the attached files for visual of section1 & section2 ....i'm just not sure what they're called so i figured an image would be the best thing). I wanted to know if it is possible to swap positions between the section shown in the file called section1 & the section shown in the file called section2 (i believe this one is called the Welcome Block). Right now, section2 is on top of section1....I'd like section1 to be on top (and I want this to be the case for guests & logged in users in case i need to make the change/s in a few places). fryi - both sections are on the homepage. Thank you in advance for any help. almost forgot - my forums are at www.aliyahsupport.com (i still have other work to do before the site is ready to go live) |

A little unclear - you want the welcome headers at the very top of the page, instead of the navbar? Is that the "Welcome Headers - Improve Community Registrations" mod?
I don't use that mod so I'm not sure how it works, but I think what you're trying to do will put the welcome header above the general code that builds vB's table set. I could be wrong, but if it can be done it's likely to be quite a bit of creative editing. |

Heheh, told ya I didn't use that hack.
I can take a look at that mod for you, but your best bet for right now is to post this question in that mod's thread. What you're looking to do in layman's terms is "move the welcome box under the navbar". |

Sure thing. I'll have a look at it in a bit, just need to un-break the server my test board runs on otherwise I'd do it now. Good luck.

I got the answer at the mod's thread.
apparently it's just moving the $welcomeheaders variable. My site is down at the moment but when it comes back up I'll play with it. Again, thanks for your responses. |

Yes you need to move it from the header template to the navbar template. After
Code:
<!-- / nav buttons row --> |
