Capabilities question
Both of my questions have to do with the user having greater control of the list of threads in a forum view.
Is there a way to hide threads when viewing a forum? If I was looking at page 1 of say "Pre sales questions" can the software be set up so I could click on a thread to hide it from the list (kind of like ignore?)? Then click on an unhide all button to show them. In addition, can the forum view be set up so I could click on a thread and send it to page 2 without adding another thread to page 1. In both cases I'm thinking that either option would give the user a significant increase in control. A user to keep their primary view down to just a few threads if they wanted. New threads would appear normally, but if the user didn't want to see them: click they are hidden or click they go to page 2. Thanks |

Not really, I've not even seen any features like this present in any forum software. I believe it would take a fairly signficantly ammount of work to make vBulletin function this way as well.
