I am trying to design a website and need a forum... Since I like the setup of vbulletin my question is does it come with some sort title or home page or is does the software once downloaded merely contain a forum/message board ?? I was hoping that it would be similiar to php nuke in that it comes with some sort of page that links to the forum that one can customize... any help or suggestions would be appreciated...thx

There are options for a home page or portal out there. Most of them are free. One I found that was similar to phpNuke that suited my personal needs was vbadvanced. I used to use phpNuke and needed a solution for a home page/portal and this worked best for me. There are also other options out there and you may see that one of the others may fit your needs better.

I really appreciate any help people can offer because I am working on a deadline and have been up for a few days now trying to sort stuff out... If don't want to have a great forum but a home page as that would defeat the purpose of my site... So I guess what I have to ask is... if I get vbulletin, is there still an opportunity to get a decent home page template and video games for free simply by going and registering at vbadvanced ?? Thanks again for your kindness as I am not good with computers and and need help as I am trying to do this for charitable purposes ...

The home page yes, the video games you can find on this web site in two forms - V3Arcade and IBProArcade.
