help please, my server crashed today and when it came back up the hit counter on my threads no longer increments....
i have tried just about everyhting including updating mysql and php and yet the hits only increment when people post on a article now... everything else is working perfectly on my site so i am not sure what i tcould be? www.vfxtalk.com please any help would be graetly appreciated karsten |

yup tried that - also set it to update views instantly...
i found this thread http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=127997 and its exactly my problem right now... updated mysql and then rebuilt my index's and then did a force update threads cronjob and it seems to be ok for now... at least the thread counters are back up so this is where i am at - when my server crashed it nocked out the clock on the server and a few user sposted 'in the future' until we reset the clock now it doesnt seem like the cron job is running on time or at-all ? if i run it manually via the 'scheduled tasks' it updates things properly but left alone it does nothing - regardless of if the settings are to update threads live or every hour? |
