discuss this thread button in a news article

is it at all possible to:

if i create a thread , say a news article, is it possible for me to creat a DISCUSS THIS THREAD link in the post

and then if somone clicks it , it will automaticaly generate a thread for people to discuss the news article ?

if its already created then just takes you to that thread

i hope this makes sense....
