vB.org Update - 06/04/2006
vB.org Update ? 06 / 04 / 2006
It?s been a couple weeks since the announced ?staff restructure?, and it is now time for a needed update as to what exactly the restructure is and what is going on behind the scenes at vBulletin.org. As you may know already, the restructure split the staff into three individual teams: Coding, Designing, and Staff. Additional members were also promoted to staff to help out in their specific area of expertise. Before I go any further, I would like to give a public congratulation to everyone who was promoted to staff. Here are the Staff Teams currently: vB.org Staff Teams: Coding Team: Staff Members: calorie christianb ericgtr Hellcat Paul M Zachariah Design Team: Administrator: Brad Team Leads: Princeton Staff Members: peterska2 Customer Support Team: Administrator: Danny.VBT Team Leads: amykhar MarcoH64 Staff Members: Chris M Zachery Dan kall What each Team is working on: Here?s a general outline as to what each team is working on. We know some of the members were wondering what the staff has been doing since the restructure, and we felt an update on this would be helpful to the entire community. The Coding Team: The coding team has been busy working on many small coding projects that will improve the quality of vb.org. At the moment, the team is waiting for some additional tools such as a dev site to test what they have worked on thus far. We expect these tools to be available shortly. As soon as these tools are ready, development of the Hack Database will be fully active. The Design Team: The design team is currently focusing their attention on allowing design and graphics to become a larger part of vBulletin.org. They are also working on a new design for the community, as well as providing the templates needed for the projects the coding team is working on. The Customer Support Team: The Customer Support team has been amending and creating policies that will help solve the issues brought up by members at the Site Feedback forum. Some of the policies include: Self Promotion / Advertising, Hack threads with no Attachments, and MOTM. They are also working with The Chief and Ntfu2 on the Board of the Month contest that will be implemented here in the near future. |

Does this mean the teams are, for all intents and purposes, created and "final"?
Oh and congrats to the new staffers [high]* Revan claps his hands[/high] |
