When was the /me effect added?

I remember trying a while back, the results were not to good:

it's been here for a few days that I know of... possibly longer, but I haven't been paying attention, lol.

I noticed that in the other thread you had typed // Me. You do know that it's / me (no space), right?

that would be because you were using //me and not /me
