Is there a hack/plugin that restricts or stops users sending PM's untill they have been a member/registered for a set number of days?? I did some searching but could find nothing.

Yeah the only one I have found is Cyb - Advanced Permissions Based on User's Post Count but doing PM access on post count leads to spamming and post whoring.
