Blank Box instead of "Arcade" in AdminCP Menu
Developer Last Online: Nov 2013
Here's a strange one... In the admin area on the side menu, the "Arcade" setting thing became a blank box and have no way to make adjustments to the arcade. Any ideas how to restore it? I tried re-importing the product, but no luck. Thanks.

manually call the page
/admincp/arcade.php?code=settings and change the language to another one and back |

Wish I could say it worked, but it didn't. I tried all the languages. I'm not sure how it happened. It was there until shortly after I upgraded to 2.5.6.

Probably the same problem i had. Increase the php memory limit by 4mb.

I did increase the php mem, no luck. Since I have the arcade on 2 mboards I run, I'm comparing the working one with the blank one and see if there's something different on the two.

I think the phrases are missing so no text is shown - please provide ACP-Access with rights to execute Queries via PM and I will fix that

It wasn't the safemode thing, it was corrupted files.
In a PM from Zeropage, he asked me if I uploaded the XML files to the "includes/xml" directory. When I checked, the files were there, but were corrupted. Somehow when the FTP proggy uploaded the upgraded files, they ended up being 0 bytes. After I re-uped the files again, they were their normal size and the "Arcade" link returned. So if anyone else had a simular issue and changing the language to another and back as suggested early in the thread don't work, check the XML files. Thanks to Zeropage's help, it all works now! :classic: Quote:

I know frustrating it gets seeing those types of threads. When Zero clued me in on what the issue may be, I thought I put it here. He was very helpful! The issue I had here actually could effect any product or plug-in that uses XML files if the FTP proggy messes up.
