PosterBar (Information Bar) v1.0

PosterBar (Information Bar for members who have never posted) v1.0
By: Infantrymen
Inspired By: Slapyo's Information Bar for Guests Modification.
Works for Vb 3.0-3.6
Easy, about 5-10 mins


This modification will display a Windows type information bar across the top of the browser for members who have never posted. When the member clicks the information bar they will be sent to the forum of your choice to add a post.

* 5.25.06 Cleaned up the code, updated.

Please make sure you click INSTALL if you use it.

not a bad idea mate... i'm asuming you can define the forum to redirect you too?

Yes, you can have them go to a forum or go directly to a new post in a certain forum. I perfer it without the sound... (your members probably will too...)

The improve headers hack is awesome, but I dont like members who only read complaining about a big chunk of words telling them to participate. This is the ideal complemention hack, as it uses just a little space at the top.

Thanks, I'm thinking of making one to work for a number of types of members soon (guest, unconfirmed, inactive poster, never posted...).
