Easy, about 1-2 mins

This simple modification adds a dropdown menu to the navigation bar
with moderation links. The main link is only visible to staff members.

Only those staff members who can use the Moderator CP can see the main link, only Admins can see the Admin links (Admin CP, Users) in the drop down...

If you have installed Moderator Statistics by Abe1, and want to add a link see the first post in this thread or the text file, thanks.

* Updated, fixed link in navbar, forgot "if" statements...

Please make sure you click INSTALL if you use it.

I installed your Mod/Admin drop down menu but it does not appear on my navbar - i'm the super-administrator. Any suggestions?

Try editing that usergroup, it may not be set to use the Modcp...

Usergroups, Usergroup Manager >> Administrators (edit user group >> GO)

scroll down and find: "Administrator Permissions", Can Access Control Panel (is Administrator) and tick "Yes". and Can Moderate All Forums (is Super Moderator) and tick "Yes". Save.......

You may also want to edit your Administrator permissions (after editing your profile in the Admin CP)...

If you can use the Mod CP (and see the link at the bottom of the page you should be able to see this link.. )

If all else fails you could add yourself to the Super Mod group as a secondary group......

Great mod, Installed, BUT...

It shows on the Navbar for everyone, they can't see the menus, but they can see the "MODERATION" menu. You can just put this around it, does the trick:

<if condition="is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 5) OR is_member_of($bbuserinfo, 6)">  </if>

Your usergroups may vary, but usually that is Admins and Supermods, you can add more groups by repeating the OR ... part.

Opps, I forgot to add the if statements around the setup link in the navbar... I still perfer to use:

<if condition="$show['modcplink']">

What ever members like to use is their preference, either one works (I perfer shorter... )....
