Moderation of Posts and Threads Problem

For some reason intermittent posts and threads are getting up in to the moderation que on my forum. I have all of my forums set so that posts and threads are not moderated and all of my usergroups following the forum moderation rules.

What would cause the board to intermittently say 5 or 6 posts and threads a day out of several hundred be moderated for no reason?

This can be a real headache, I've been there myself. In your AdminCP go to Forums & Moderators > View Permissions and check the "Follow Forum Moderation Rules". This will make finding it much easier for you to find the group causing it.

Yeah, I already have that set for all forums and groups to follow the forum rules. It is odd as this just started all of a sudden.

Well, it's just a viewer that will only show you what group or forum that it may be applied to. If they are going into the moderation que then it's turned on somewhere and can sometimes be a real pain to trace down.

It would be nice to have a script that would all you to have a global set to on or off all at one time.

There is always a reason, look for a pattern, all in one usergroup (or not in one usergroup) or a particular forum, or user.

You can use the permissions checker to check a users permissions in a forum, check the permissions for a moderated post (check the moderator logs as well, maybe someone is sending them to the moderation queue).
