Similar Threads Below First Post

Hello, I am attempting to place the similar threads below the first post.

I've tried about everything I can think of. The $similarpost variable seems to work when I use it in the showthread template, but I can not find a method for moving this below the first post.

However, if I try to put it into the postbit template to display it after the first post, it does not seem to keep the value, and nothing displays.


Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyone? I am completely out of ideas.

Do I need to use the fetch_similar_threads API call? If I put the $similarfields variable in the showthread template, just above where it puts in the post bits, it will display there, but when I try to use it in the postbit template it does not display. Is there some way I need to include the showthread template in the postbit template to be able to access the $similarfields?
