Adding a Usergroup as Mod

We just moved from phpBB to a vBulletin, and on phpBB we had Usegroups as moderators of certain areas, can that be done in a vBulletin? So far I've not seen a way to do that and I checked the manual as well.

I might have missed something though. Is there a hack to do this instead of setting up individual moderators for the areas?
