blocking guest from forum hurt SEO?

I was just wondering if making guests register on the site to view the forums hurt SEO at all?

If they cant view the forums or threads then neither can the spiders as they are treated as guests.

Not something i would use.I like to limit what the spiders can see and its easily accomplished by their guest status.I can easily allow them to spider the important info and even limit scripts and extra page size by only allowing certain features for guest.I dont know,i just feel more comfortable with spiders being a guest myself.haha
