I'm assuming it's a coding issue, since I can't find anything in the admin cp to prevent a forum section's posts from showing up when the New Posts link is clicked. Does anyone know what template or code I need to modify.

I think you select 'index this forums posts in the search engine' and hit no .. if that doesn't work maybe you do need a mod
