How do you add another super admin? I have been told its in the config file, but I have no idea where that is....

Yea. Look into your config and look for

// ****** SUPER ADMINISTRATORS ******
// The users specified below will have permission to access the administrator permissions
// page, which controls the permissions of other administrators
$config['SpecialUsers']['superadministrators'] = '1';

and put a comma (,) next to the one and put his/her user ID
