question about making my database smaller....

well i have a large database........well its really just 2 tables my post table and my postindex table.......is there anyway to make thesez smaller.....and is there anyway to make my forum run a lil faster and smoother....

Your forum runs slow because your shared DDRam's hosting or your DDRam's dedicated server is not enough, if it's a shared hosting then the hoster has a lot of sites running on its server and you're one of them there which each other sharing connection.

If it's a dedicated server then your DDRam's server is not enough for running your forum.

Optimize a database is classic than make it more smaller.
