usercp controlled sidebar (no bar, left bar, right bar)

How many here have created a sidebar only to have some people complain they do not want it, or want it on the other side. How about a sidebar that is controlled by a radio button in the usercp with 3 options:

Choose the placement of your sidebar:
o no sidebar
o left sidebar
o right sidebar

I could really use this and do not want to achieve it with the style chooser either. Thanks
