Template modifications : Parse error Details »»
|
|||||||||||||||||||||||||
For most of the code changes i am getting errors like these. I am trying to VbBux 1.5.5 on VB 3.5.4
The following error occurred when attempting to evaluate this template: Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_STRING' or `T_VARIABLE' or `T_NUM_STRING' in /home/httpd/vhosts/XYZ.com/httpdocs/forum/includes/adminfunctions_template.php(3537) : eval()'d code on line 149 This is likely caused by a malformed conditional statement. It is highly recommended that you fix this error before continuing, but you may continue as-is if you wish. Show Your Support

The easiest way is to backup your current style changes by downloading ur style. Then reverting the postbit/postbit_legacy/MEMBERINFO templates and redoing the hacks that u have installed. I have found this to be the best way to find the template edits.

I will try it again today, and let you know.
Acutly i have done this twice before with no luck. It should be as smooth as anther user who responded with a flawless install. Can browser resitriciton like blocking referells, cockies can play a role in this? |

You most likely are not closing a conditional somewhere with your edits

This time, I did not modified it in browser, instead i copied the entire template to edit in my textpad and then modified and copied it back, and it show no errors at all.
