Right, I basically had this idea that people could apply to be moderators of a specific thread. If approved, they could do stuff like open/close that specific thread, delete posts in it, etc. The main purpose of this would be for threads that some limited number of people 'run' like if there is a contest that some particular person is hosting or similar situations, where the person who is hosting it would have to PM a moderator to have it closed, etc. I really think it could be very useful...
