Submit Mod hack
Can we have access to the Mod that this site uses for submitting mods. Is it available for download Or is that a no no.. I would like to add it to my site for posting game mods. That way there is a field for mod version, version date, and I can keep track of how many people have it installed.. Kind of like the way it's setup here..

It's custom coded to intergrate with other aspects of the site and is not publically avalible. There are other similar hacks about however.

I remember such a thread too. I'm not certain, however, if it was a mod release or an idea on the table. It targetted coders who release hacks. I'll continue looking...
You may want to try The Geek's Article system is close to the first post mod as you can customize it. I've just begun playing with the pro version and it's an awesome extension. |

If I could just think of what they would call it, that would be a good start... lol
Also I was thinking about using the article program and maybe trying to mod to do something like they use here. But the ideal way would be to have it like it's set up here where it's designated to select forums. That way it's right there in front of your users and they don't have to go to another area to find it... |
