Spiders own usergroup?
Hi peeps
Is it possible to give spiders thier own usergroup.. If not would it be possible to give them 1 colour for all spiders? I would just like to highlight them more! |

Actually, yes
Their is a hack that makes the spiders a "registered" account. Get that, then set those specific users (Spiders) into a custom usergroup of which highlights the name of the search engine spider |

Hi
I already have this hack installed... Its the 1 that makes the spiders a member so to speak. but they still show as guests, all it does is give them permission to go where registered memebrs can go... I want sommat where i can change the colour of the spiders? |

That's a good idea. That way spiders will index things that the average member can't see, so when people find it from a search engine, they will hopefully sign up. I can see this being useful. I doubt it's difficult to code either.
